Moments at Night

Moments at Night

I love photographing street scenes at night that include neon lights. The neon adds emotion, vibrancy and a sense of mystery and melancholy.

Here are a some of the nighttime photos I shot with neon light. In each image, the color and shapes are intensified  by the neon light.

Route 66: An American Symbol

I am proud to announce that my book “Route 66 - An American Symbol” has been awarded 3rd Place in the Book, Self Published category for Professional IPA- 2020 International Photography Awards.

Route 66, opened in 1926, is one of our country’s oldest and most famous highways and an iconic symbol of a changing America. It began as a symbol of hope for Americans as they migrated to the West and California during the Depression and the Dust Bowl. Later it became a symbol of freedom and mobility for families during post-World War II economic growth. Today it is an iconic legend that has attracted thousands of Americans and worldwide travelers who relive its unique journey.
